The YO Adventure camp celebrates Thirty Five Years of Outdoor Education in 2012. The YOAC is the elite program for the camper that wants to experience as much learning and fun as possible. We offer a variety of specialized summer camps. Including, Basic & Advanced Cowboy Camp and Basic Hunting Camp. Keeping the YOAC tradition alive we also offer a week of Adventure Camp. All of which use curriculums focusing on the personal growth, team building, and outdoor education. In addition to all of these activities campers will also learn natural history, fire building, outdoor cooking and embark on an overnight campout under the beautiful Texas stars! Campers will leave with a sense of accomplishment, and being more knowledgeable in many areas of the outdoors. Read below for brief descriptions and clink on the links to the right to learn more!

Adventure Camp - Perfect program for the camper who wants to experience all he or she can at the YOAC. Horses, High Ropes, Climb Tower, Archery, Rifle, and more!!
Basic Cowboy Camp - Was developed from a childhood dream of wanting to be a real working cowboy. The week long camp teaches basic horsemanship skills, team work, personal strength, and ethics. All while having the time of there life! Basic skills include, grooming, saddling, roping, cattle work,, secure seat riding method, and much more. The whole week will be spent on horseback including a trail drive and over night campout.
Cowboy and Advance Cowboy Camp - For the campers who want to expand there equine knowledge. More in-depth education and hands on training of camper and the horse. While including all the fun of summer camp!
Junior Wrangler School - Ready to be wrangler? This school will teach the in and out of safe horsemanship. Goal is to make each student a Junior Wrangler. Prepare student for a job as a wrangler in the future. **Student must meet qualifications***
Basic Hunting Camp - Teaches every camper ethical and responsible hunting. Each camper will receive the Texas Hunter Education card. Camper will also graduate with knowledge of fire arm safety, archery safety, and outdoor survival skills, all to accumulate into a hunt.
Trophy Hunting Camp - Ready to hunt your trophy from the YO Ranch? Want all the fun and excitement of summer camp as well? Improve your hunting skills and hunt the trophy you want in this camp. New for 2012
Junior Guide School -For the advanced hunting campers who want to learn more about the in-depth process it takes to be a hunter and a professional guide. Learn from the YO Ranch Guides and work your way up to guide for your own trophy! **students must meet qualifications** |
