Insights On How Are Brick Tiles Made?

Once the bricks get in our yard our staff quickly begin producing them into brick tiles. The pack of bricks will be taken into the manufacturing plant and the staff will kick off trimming them. We have a number of state of the art brick trimming machines in our manufacturing facility so can manufacture a huge quantity of brickslips in a day. Aside from that, we also have specialised brick cutting equipment that allows us to specifically manufacture edge brick slips, headers and stretcher reveals. We can help -

Once they are cut, cleaned up and boxed; the brick tiles are transferred into our picking & packing area. Our staff will then accurately and meticulously pick your order onto a pallet. When they have picked the order and they will then check out again look over it to make sure it is unquestionably correct. The boxes of brick tiles are then secured to the pallet. Finally, they are covered and banded to make sure their safety. We then send out our brick slips direct your local distribution hub, ready for delivery to you! -

At a separate manufacturing area, we produce our brick specimen panels. The staff at this manufacturing facility will get brick slips that have been cut by us. Using a specialised brick slip glue, they attach the brick tiles to a sample board. Our samples are completely free of charge to our clients. They are composed of 3 brickslip pieces and 3 brick slip headers to give you a great idea on the true visual appeal of the item.

The Way To Mount Brick Tiles

Installing your own brick tiles can be quite a fun challenge for you to take on. I am going to talk you through exactly how to do so as per our setup guide.

The initial step it sets out once you have gathered your equipment, is to prep your surface. You do this by first making sure that the area you want to attach your brick tiles is free from dust and particles. A terrific tool for this is our wire sweeper which will help you clean up the area rapidly and effectively. Now you are ready to administer pro primer to the wall. This is developed to prime the substrate ready for the administration of your brick slip glue. It is advisable to use a large soft paint brush or a roller brush to cover the whole area. Some walls may require a 2nd layer of primer.

Continuing on from this, you’ll want to lay out your brick tiles on your wall using a spirit level and pencil to help you. This will help you to determine how your brickslips will fit on in the corners and edges of your feature wall. It is most ideal practice to avoid leaving small gaps at the top, bottom or either side of your project wall so you might have to cut some of your brick slips to make them fit.
